Brandon focuses on client counseling in the areas of patent prosecution, patent due diligence, patent infringement, patent licensing and patent portfolio mining.
Brandon’s experience is primarily related to software and business methods. As an inventor himself, Brandon appreciates the unique challenges associated with commercializing an idea and the value of obtaining the maximum patent prosecution. Drawing from his 10 years of industrial experience developing enterprise business software, Brandon focuses primarily on cyber security and data privacy technologies.
Prior to joining Volpe and Koenig, Brandon received the Early Career Achievement Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers for his work developing a novel software system to solve complex business and manufacturing problems. Pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufactures, shipping companies and heavy manufactures around the globe, are still using systems Brandon has designed.

Life Beyond the Law
I spend my free time teaching and learning. I have presented my research at professional and academic conferences around the world on such wide-ranging topics as the: Wait Times at Starbucks, Teaching Industrial Engineering, Rates of Terrorism and the Costs of Riding a Bicycle to Work. I also collect Starbucks mugs from cities I have visited and have more than 200 mugs in my collection.
