Dennis is an attorney in the Philadelphia Office of Volpe and Koenig, P.C. A registered patent attorney, Dennis works with large and small clients to develop and protect their innovations. Dennis focuses primarily on patents and within patents he performs patent preparation and prosecution (domestic and foreign), opinions and due diligence, counseling and portfolio management and leveraging of patent assets. He concentrates in the areas of electrical, electromechanical, mechanical and computer systems.
Dennis counsels clients in a wide range of technologies, including electronics , networking communication systems, mobile communication systems, computer hardware, mechanical and electrical devices, control systems, audio-video technology including MPEG, medical devices, imaging and display systems, optics, aerial laser-scanning, LiDAR and business methods.
Prior to joining Volpe and Koenig, Dennis was an associate in the Philadelphia office of a large national firm and an associate in a Philadelphia area patent boutique firm, where he specialized in patent prosecution for small clients to large multi-national companies in Europe and Japan. His duties included preparation of applications for domestic, PCT and foreign filing, prosecution of applications in the U.S. and management of foreign counsel in various countries to prosecute abroad.

Dennis is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and is a long time Phillies season ticket holder. He enjoys spending time with his family, including coaching his children’s sports teams, attending Phillies games and travelling to amusement parks.
