Jonathan’s practice focuses on the preparation of a wide range of patent applications, litigation, licensing, and IP portfolio management.
Jonathan works with clients in a wide variety of industries including the field of wireless telecommunications. Jonathan prepares domestic and foreign patent applications and aids in the prosecution of patents, office action responses, and Information Disclosure Statements. Jonathan performs analysis of standards including advising clients and preparing claim charts. Jonathan regularly discusses wireless technology and standards applicability with inventors and clients. Jonathan also helps litigate patent and trademark infringement matters for clients in a variety of industries. Jonathan particularly enjoys helping clients manage and derive value from their intellectual property holdings.
Prior to law school, Jonathan worked for approximately six years at an international engineering company as a systems engineer. Jonathan designed, tested, and debugged integrated communications systems for use in a variety of military and commercial applications. Jonathan also participated in business development as a representative of the engineering team.
