Daniel Rose Joins Volpe Koenig as Shareholder

Volpe Koenig is pleased to announce that Daniel E. Rose has joined the firm as a shareholder.

Dan offers significant experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the areas of electronics, networking telecommunications, computer hardware and software, medical devices and adaptive technologies. He has advised companies ranging from Fortune 1000 multinationals to basement startups in the areas of network security and cloud storage, bioinformatics and big data processing, and signal processing and communications.

Dan most recently served as a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. Prior to joining Foley, Daniel was a patent agent for two years at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP. He has a decade of experience in electrical and broadcast engineering and was the assistant chief engineer for the WBUR Group, Boston’s National Public Radio affiliate.

Daniel earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School and holds a B.M. in Audio Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
