Volpe Koenig IPromise Charitable Giving Fund to Gift $40K to Local Nonprofit

Application for the 2023 grant opens June 12 and closes August 18

PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 12, 2023 – Volpe Koenig, Philadelphia’s largest law firm dedicated solely to the practice of intellectual property, is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications through August 18, 2023 for the 16th annual IPromise Charitable Giving Fund (IPromise) grant competition, which will provide one Philadelphia area nonprofit with a $40,000 grant. The application can be accessed here.

To qualify, nonprofits must meet the award criteria, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • In operation for at least two years
  • Headquartered in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Burlington, Camden or Gloucester counties
  • Less than $10 million annual operating budget
  • Falls within one of the following categories:
    • Arts, Culture and Humanities
    • Community Development
    • Education and Research
    • Environment and Animals
    • Health, Human Services & Youth Development
    • Veteran Services

The full eligibility requirements can be found here. Previous recipients include the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the Bethesda Project, Minds Matter of Philadelphia and Kisses for Kyle Foundation.

All Philadelphia area nonprofits meeting the criteria are strongly encouraged to apply for consideration. Funds will be disbursed in December.
