Volpe Koenig announced today that The National Giving Alliance has been awarded a $40,000 grant through its 16th Annual IPromise Charitable Giving Fund competition. The firm’s charitable giving fund has awarded more than $600,000 to worthy organizations across our area since its inception.
Established by Volpe Koenig in 2007, IPromise supports qualifying Greater Philadelphia area nonprofit organizations by assisting in continuing their missions and establishing new programs. Previously comprised of two grants worth $20,000 each, the 2023 IPromise grant awarded one $40,000 grant. To date, IPromise has awarded more than $600,000 to grant recipients.
This year’s winner is Warminster Pa.-based The National Giving Alliance (NGA) which provides new clothing and essential items to underserved children and youth.
“The National Giving Alliance is extremely thankful to Volpe Koenig and the IPromise Grant Committee for their generous support," said Lisa Tordo, executive director of NGA. "The grant provides critical mission support of providing new clothes to our clients. We have seen an increase in demand for our services as more families in the area need support. We’re grateful to know we will be able to help more youth in the greater Philadelphia area by providing them with the necessary clothing they need to reach their potential.”
