Volpe and Koenig, P.C. Donates Patent Application Support to Winners of NJ Entrepreneurial Network’s “Posters, Pitches and Prizes” Event
PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 12, 2017) – Volpe and Koenig, P.C., an intellectual property law firm with offices in Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ, announced today that it has awarded pro bono provisional patent application preparation and filing services to three winners of New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network’s “Posters, Pitches and Prizes” annual competition, held this year at Princeton University on March 29. Prizes were awarded to winners of “Best Pitch” (Michael Dunn for Meniscofix™, NovoPedics, Inc.), “Best Poster” (Princeton University student Arash Sedeghi for Possumus Smart Cities Parking Initiative) and “Audience Choice/Best in Show” (Michael Johnson for Visikol® HISTO™).

“Posters, Pitches and Prizes” introduces innovators who have created posters showcasing their ideas to contacts from New Jersey’s research universities, business representatives, potential funding sources, professional service providers and other influential members of the state’s tech community. This is the fifth year in a row that Volpe and Koenig, P.C. has contributed provisional patent application prizes to the event, each worth approximately $2,500. The firm’s patent-related specializations include patent counseling, prosecution, licensing and litigation.
