Shareholder John Donch Jr. Advises During Hearings on “Innovation in America: How Congress Can Make Our Patent System STRONGER”

Washington D.C. (September 11, 2019) – Volpe and Koenig shareholder, John Donch Jr., is in the nation’s capital today for a bipartisan hearing entitled “Innovation in America: How Congress can make our patent system STRONGER” before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Intellectual Property.

The STRONGER Patents Act was reintroduced in July 2019 by Representatives Bill Foster and Steve Stivers and U.S. Senators Chris Coons and Tom Cotton “to protect and support inventors and innovators and ensure that our patent system protects this essential property right.”

Donch, an experienced intellectual property attorney, author and speaker, is advising on testimony provided to the Subcommittee. He previously advised during recent hearings on another measure related to patent eligibility.
