Volpe and Koenig Kicks Off 2019 IPromise™ Grant Competition Two $20,000 Grants Will Be Awarded to Local Non-Profits

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (June 17, 2019) – Volpe and Koenig, P.C. announces the kick off of its 13th annual IPromise™ Charitable Giving Fund (“IPromise”) grant competition. Established in 2007, IPromise supports qualifying Greater Philadelphia or Trenton area non-profit organizations by awarding $20,000 grants to two each year. This year, organizations dedicated to education or veteran services are invited to apply by visiting vklawipromise.com, reviewing official guidelines and submitting applications before July 31, 2019. Organizations must be at least two years old and headquartered in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Burlington, Camden or Mercer County to be eligible for an IPromise grant.

To date, IPromise has awarded more than $480,000 to grant recipients across six eligible categories that rotate each year. In addition to supporting organizations dedicated to education and veteran services, IPromise funding has also advanced work in the areas of animal welfare; arts and culture; community development and health and human services. Previous IPromise grant recipients include After School Activities Partnerships, Angel Flight East, Bethesda Project, BuildaBridge, Canine Partners for Life, Dress for Success of Mercer County, ElderNet of Lower Merion and Narberth, Girls Inc., Greater Norristown Police Athletic League, Interfaith Hospitality Network of the Main Line, Kisses for Kyle Foundation, Last Chance Ranch, Mercer Museum, Mighty Writers, New Leash on Life USA, Operation Homefront, The Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, Real Life Community Development Corporation, Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse, St. Edmond’s Home for Children, Twilight Wish, Urban Tree Connection and Welcoming the Stranger.
